Biodegradable container for manual colonization, containing eggs of Trichogramma evanescens, reared in a controlled environment for combating pests of the order Lepidoptera – Spider mites (family Tetranychus), Beet webworm (Loxostege sticticalis), Cabbage moth (Mamestra brassicae), Cabbage moth (Mamestra brassicae), Cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera), and European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis).
Trichogramma is an egg parasitoid and works exclusively on the eggs of pests in the order Lepidoptera! In rare cases, it also parasitizes the eggs of other insects.
It suppresses their populations by destroying their larvae and depositing its own egg into the pest’s egg. Subsequently, a beneficial insect—the trichogramma—hatches from the parasitized pest egg.
Trichogramma completely preserves the ecological balance within its area of activity and is 100% harmless to humans, animals, and plants. It leaves the soil and water in the treatment area unchanged.
DOES NOT CONTAIN CHEMICAL COMPONENTS!
Preserves soil and water quality in the treated area.
