Biodegradable container for manual colonization, containing a special mix of eggs of Trichogramma dendrolimi, Trichogramma evanescens, and Trichogramma brassicae, reared in a controlled environment for the control of Lepidopteran pests – Cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera), Dark pea leaf folder (Cydia nigricana), Soybean pod borer (Etiella zinckenella), and Lucerne moth (Heliothis viriplaca).

Trichogramma is an egg parasitoid and works exclusively on the eggs of pests in the order Lepidoptera! In rare cases, it parasitizes the eggs of other insects.

It suppresses pest populations by destroying their larvae and depositing its own egg within the pest’s egg. Subsequently, a beneficial insect—the trichogramma—hatches from the parasitized pest egg.

Trichogramma completely preserves the ecological balance in its area of activity and is 100% harmless to humans, animals, and plants. It leaves the soil and water in the treatment area unchanged.
