Trichogrammas are beneficial insects - very small wasps, 0.3-0.7 mm in size, which find extremely wide application in biological plant protection all over the world.
The role assigned to them by nature and by man is due to their ability to parasitize the eggs of harmful insects, thereby killing them.
Control of economically important pests such as corn stem borer, cotton and cabbage nightshade, striped grape moth, and many others has proven to be most successful and long-lasting through the application of trichogramma using the so-called seasonal colonization method.

Because of their valuable qualities and the possibility of their mass reproduction, scientists from all over the world have continued for more than a century to study their species composition, biological and ecological features and application in practice.
